Clients are taught the latest science and research of various modalities of self-care and mindfulness. This knowledge enhances one’s belief about the power of such a new opportunity or technique of self-care. Since stress exacerbates most diseases, any measure which can decrease the stress is critical to living a healthy life. We all need a plan to decrease our stress.
MINDFULNESS
Clients learn mindfulness strategies YOU feel comfortable with. These practices teach you to see the good in yourself and in your world as well as the ability to feel joy in your life everyday. Mindfulness is like exercise in that you can choose various strategies. You receive the positive effects no matter how you choose to practice. Watching the flicker of a flame, sitting quietly in appreciation, or practicing meditation, etc are just some of the practices of mindfulness.
EMPOWERMENT
Individuals are empowered to look at all areas of one's life in determining where improvements are needed. We all have the ability to heal ourselves through our intuition, insight, and experience of self-care practices.
